Privacy policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This is an English translation for reference. If there is any difference between this translation and the Japanese original, the Japanese original prevails.

1. Information we collect

Squads does not require account registration. The app and the embed page do not send or store the data you enter (team names, player names, shirt numbers, positions, etc.) on the operator's servers (for the AI assistant integration, see "4. AI assistant integration (MCP)"). It uses no cookies, analytics tools or ads.

2. Storage in your browser

Formations you create and display settings are saved in your browser's localStorage. They stay on your device and are not sent to the operator or third parties. Clearing your browser data also deletes them.

When you create a share URL, the formation is included in the URL. Anyone you give the URL to can view its content. Please be careful about whom you share it with.

3. Embedding (iframe)

Squads embedded in other sites displays data received from the embedding site. Saving data on the embedding site is done by that site's operator, and Squads does not store it. The embed page itself stores nothing in the browser.

4. AI assistant integration (MCP)

When you use Squads from an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude (the MCP server at /mcp; see the AI assistant guide), data is handled as follows.

Your conversations with the AI assistant and how the assistant handles data are governed by each service's privacy policy (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).

6. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy as necessary. The revised policy takes effect when posted on this page.
